  1. Additions to THE COMPLETE SALES AUTOMATION SYSTEM in version 3.5:
  2.  
  3. 1)    Items in inventory can now be flagged as "Taxable" or "Non-Taxable"
  4.     to allow for freight, shipping, labor, etc... to be added here.
  5.  
  6. 2)    A 3rd price class has been added to the inventory file to allow
  7.     an additional pricing structure to be maintained. 
  8.  
  9. 3)    Default Profit Margin calculations are now displayed when adding
  10.     a new inventory item assisting you in determining your sale prices.
  11.         These margin percentages are maintained in the COMPANY INFORMATION
  12.     FILE under "Utilities" from the Main Menu.
  13.  
  14. 4)    The Order Summary Report has been re-worked to print more financial
  15.     information (sales tax collected, profit, etc..) as well as totals.
  16.  
  17. 5)    Inventory comments have been enlarged to allow 3 lines to be entered
  18.     as well as printing them on the Quotations/Invoices.  This allows
  19.     a more detailed description for each product sold to be given.
  20.  
  21. If you have obtained this version of SAS and are using an earlier version of 
  22. SAS (as un-registered SHAREWARE), your data files WILL NOT be compatible.  
  23. Sample data has been included for you to evaluate the new features. 
  24. You may also add new data, as SAS IS NOT "crippled in any way. 
  25. Upon Registration, a data conversion utility will be sent to you to update
  26. any existing data files you may have.
